We don’t recommend giving puppies under 12 weeks of age any of our biscuits (they are still a little young at this age). After 12 weeks you can feed our baked biscuits, although some of the treats may need to be broken into a more manageable bite size pieces depending on your pups size. Treats such as our Pointer sticks are suitable for feeding from 6 months of age. With all of our treats we recommend supervising your pet during feeding.

Here at Pointer, we bake all of our own biscuit treats right here in the heart of Lincolnshire. As for our other treats such as our sticks and hotdogs, we use a trusted site approved by us.

Our Pointer boxes are indeed recyclable, however our Pointer bags are currently not. We are hopeful that all our packing will be fully recyclable in the future.

The phrase ‘Meat and animal derivatives’ is terminology often found on many pet food products and can often be confusing for customers as to what it is. This terminology is simply a categorisation for ingredients which are derived from surplus animal products from the human food chain. These ingredients provide high amounts of protein amongst other nutrients that are beneficial for pets. These ingredients can be derived from animals such as beef, chicken, lamb, pork to name a few. All of these types of meat may also include materials like lungs/ kidneys/ livers. All of these products come from animals that have been passed as fit for human consumption. These ingredients follow stringent regulations as well as quality standards across the industry.
